Could you be a cheerleader, coach or champion for young people (7 to 19)? We're looking for empathetic people to share their time and experience with young people across South/Mid Warwickshire - in schools, online and in the community.
We'll make sure that you have the training and ongoing support you need to make a big difference to a young person, as soon as life gets tough and for as long as they need us. We take our commitment to young people very seriously so if you're a person that always goes the extra mile, we'd love to have a chat.
We have different volunteering opportunities depending on how much time you have available and what you enjoy doing. You could chooose to mentor young people during the day in a school or meet with them in the evening at a community venue, in a youth club or online. Wherever you choose to volunteer, we ask mentors for 2 to 3 hours each week for most of the academic year to support two to four young people.
See Nick's Story to find out what it's really like.
Too much? Why not support small groups of young people as a volunteer workshop leader? You can go all out for one term, working with the same group of young people in a school or youth club, then take a break for a few months before coming back to us.
We're committed to keeping young people safe so as part of our recruitment we will ask you for two references, ask you to have an enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training as part of your induction and each year. Why not read more about our approach to safeguarding?
We'd particularly love to hear from people who reflect the young people we support and the communities we work in.
